Hello everyone!

This is the day that the Lord has made! I’m blessed to be a part of the Outreach Route this upcoming year. I’ve done two mission trips: one to Haiti in 2017 and another to the Dominican Republic in 2021. From these wonderful experiences, I feel God is calling me back into missions work. Now, I’m spiritually preparing myself for a journey of a lifetime where I will become God’s disciple overseas.

I’m 17 years old attending Spencerport High School as a senior in Rochester, NY. I have one older brother named Tim who is a sophomore at Houghton College studying Applied Physics. I played soccer for 12 years, then stopped to pursue my running career. I run cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. My favorite race on the track is the open 800 meter since it’s the longest distance I can sprint before I become completely exhausted. My absolute favorite activities outside of running would have to be beach volleyball, camping, card games, and still soccer.

My mom has been a significant influence in my decision to go on a gap year. She spent some of her childhood overseas in the Philippines and in Papua New Guinea as a missionary with her family. Similar to my mom, I will be going overseas to Guatemala, South Africa, Cambodia, and Thailand to spread the Gospel. I can’t wait till September when the squad and I start our journey on the World Race.
